As a Financial Advisor, my goal is to help my clients make smart financial decisions by providing them with sound advice regarding retirement, college, investment, wealth preservation planning and estate planning. I am dedicated to understanding your needs and pursuing your financial goals by seeking to provide superior service. I specialize in managing risk through tactical asset allocation based on your personal goals and objectives by investing in, but not limited to: mutual funds, stocks, bonds, REIT's, professionally managed portfolios, annuities, and life insurance.
I graduated from Illinois State University with a B.A. in Business Management and a minor in Computer Science. I enjoy reading, golfing, and most outdoor activities. I currently reside in Yorkville, IL with my wife and two children.
Tactical allocation may involve more frequent buying and selling of assets and will tend to generate higher transaction cost. Investors should consider the tax consequences of moving positions more frequently.
Investing includes risks, including fluctuating prices and loss of principal. Bonds are subject to market and interest rate risk if sold prior to maturity.
Bond values will decline as interest rates rise and bonds are subject to availability and change in price.
Investing in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) involves special risks such as potential illiquidity and may not be suitable for all investors. There is no assurance that the investment objectives of this program will be attained.
Fixed and Variable annuities are suitable for long-term investing, such as retirement investing. Gains from tax-deferred investments are taxable as ordinary income upon withdrawal. Guarantees are based on the claims paying ability of the issuing company. Withdrawals made prior to age 59 ½ are subject to a 10% IRS penalty tax and surrender charges may apply. Variable annuities are subject to market risk and may lose value.
